Fall Gold Raspberry
***Ready for June 2018 - Shipping about June 4th***
Rubus spp.
This everbearing yellow-gold raspberry is a flavorful raspberry, excellent for fresh eating, canning, freezing, and for preserves. They are vigorous and extremely hardy. The yellow coloration tends to fool birds and they do not eat the ripe fruits.
This variety is a great choice for a home gardener, u-pick operator or commercial grower, producing firm berries and reliable crops year after year. The plants were originally introduced 1967, by E.M. Meader of New Hampshire.
Fall Gold is ever-bearing and bears fruit only on first year wood. For best production and maintenance, it is recommended to prune back canes that have finished fruiting, to make room for more fruiting canes.
The harvest season can last from May all the way thru October with these raspberries.
